Trauma-informed supervision and reflective practice.
With over 8 years experience of working in NHS services as a leader and supervisor, I have extensive experience of offering supervision, and facilitating reflective-practice spaces for individuals and groups of professionals.
Trauma-informed supervision
Supervision can be provided on a weekly, monthly or ad-hoc basis. I offer friendly, informal supervision sessions, facilitating a thoughtful reflective space to allow you to think about the work you are doing with your clients. This can focus on building up trauma-informed formulations, guiding trauma-focussed therapy, managing risk, working through impasses in the work, thinking about the effect the work is having on you and ensuring you are offering the highest quality therapy to everyone you are seeing.
Fees:
Online supervision sessions : £140 (discounts may be available for trainees)
Trauma-informed Reflective Practice
Reflective practice groups are spaces that allow you to think and reflect on the work you and your team are doing. Often we can get caught in the day to day task of doing; reflective practice groups allow us the space and safety to step back and think about our roles, how we are functioning as team and consider what is going well and what could go better. We have the space to consider the impact we are having in our team and the impact of the team is having on us.
Opportunities for multi-professional teams to reflect and discuss openly and honestly what has happened when things go wrong should be encouraged. These valuable reflective experiences help to build resilience, improve wellbeing and deepen professional commitment.*
Reflective practice groups also allow us to celebrate what is going well, build cohesive teams and allow an appreciation across the team of the challenging work everyone is undertaking.
